本标准规定了注射成型塑料圆柱齿轮（简称“注塑齿轮”或“齿轮”）轮齿同侧齿面偏差和径向综合偏差的术语、精度制架构和允许值。
本标准仅适用于单个齿轮的偏差要素，而不针对齿轮副。
本标准根据注塑齿轮精度的特点，规定了9个公差等级，从4级到12级。5.3提供了偏差的公差计算公式。这些公差可以应用于以下范围：
5≤z≤1000
0.5mm≤d≤280mm
0.1mm≤m_n≤3.5mm
0.2mm≤b≤40mm
β≤45º
其中：
z一一齿数；
d一一分度圆直径；
m_n一一法向模数；
b——齿宽（轴向）；
β——螺旋角。
