《联合国气候变化框架公约》第21次缔约方会议关于减排的国家自主贡献(NDC)对于达到和超过2摄氏度的基准是至关重要的。澳大利亚的国家发展委员会明确其为这一全球进程作出贡献的目标。然而，出口市场所采取的措施和替代能源日益增强的竞争力意味着市场开始认识到，海运动力煤市场正在结构性下滑。正是这一点，我们认为应该关注碳风险披露。
The COP21 Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) of emissions reductions will be essential in meeting and exceeding the 2C benchmark. Australia’s NDC was clear in its objective to contribute to this global process. However, measures being taken in export markets and the increasing competitiveness of alternative energy sources mean!that!the market is starting to recognise that the seaborne thermal coal market is in structural decline. It is this point that we believe should be focused on with regard to carbon risk disclosure.
